Born in 1971 in İstanbul, Ali Çimen got his university degree from Black Sea Technical University. Later, he launched his career in journalism while majoring in English and Literature at Istanbul University. After working in the foreign news department at Zaman newspaper, he took his work abroad as the correspondant in the Netherlands for both Zaman and Today’s Zaman. Now working for Euro News, also writes articles for numerous periodicals and magazines. He speaks English, German and Dutch, as well as his native Turkish.
